We really want you as a volunteer!
Who volunteers:
Anyone can be a Rebuilding Together volunteer! Volunteers
come from corporations, places of worship, civic clubs, social clubs, schools, and universities. Volunteers can be individuals
who really want to get involved in helping their neighbor. Skilled volunteers—such as carpenters, plumbers, electricians,
and roofers—come from partnerships with trades associations, home supply retailers, and local tradespersons.
Volunteer Jobs and Roles:
There are many different jobs and roles that our volunteers
do. These include:
painter, yard work, cleaning, rough carpenter, finish carpenter, tile,
plumbing, electricial, roofing, dry wall, insulation, home inspection, landscaper, parts/supplies runner,
building supplies coordinator, house foreman, volunteer trainer, volunteer coordinator ...
office
work, database work, administrative, social care interaction, care and feeding of the workers, public relations, fund
raiser, photographer, web site content developer, media coordinator, home owner selection, ...
