Sponsors

Our sponsors enable us to continue and begin new programs to preserve housing across the nation. Sponsors such as AARP, Administration on Aging, API, Avon Foundation, Booz Allen Hamilton, Bradco, Cemex, Countrywide, Fannie Mae Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Home Depot, Honeywell, Kmart, Lowe's, Order of Malta, Safeco Insurance, and Sears have been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals of rebuilding homes for the low-income elderly, disabled, families with children and veterans. Our sponsors have been instrumental in helping us to support our affiliate network, create dynamic initiatives, and build capacity of the National office. We thank all of our sponsors for their generosity and support!

Donors

Through the generous support of individuals, Rebuilding Together makes a difference in the lives of the elderly, the disabled and families with children. With your help, we are working to preserve homes and solve the affordable housing crisis. With your help, we are working to restore heat and hot water. But, more importantly, with your help, we are providing hope. We thank our individual donors for their generous financial support. Every dollar truly does make a difference!

To donate, or to find out about other ways in which you can help Rebuilding Together in your community, visit the Help Now section.

Home Owners

The number of low-income homeowners increases each year. The current 24 million low-income homeowner families is expected to grow to an astonishing 28.5 million by the year 2010. More and more families are placed in the position of choosing between vital necessities such as food or medicine and a roof that does not leak. Disabled homeowners cannot afford the modifications that allow them to “age in place” and remain in their own homes. Rebuilding Together works to ensure that as many of those families as possible do not have to make these difficult choices. Individual families are referred to us through neighborhood associations, churches, synagogues, community organizations and service groups or by self-referral. Non-profit facilities are also eligible for our services.

Volunteers

This year, 272,000 volunteers will donate their time and skills to Rebuilding Together. As the nation's largest all-volunteer home rehabilitation organization we rely on the generosity of individuals who give their time to their low-income neighbors. Be it painting a worn front porch, building a wheelchair ramp, or even planting a small garden where only weeds stood before, Rebuilding Together volunteers are making a commitment to preserving dignified homeownership in their communities.
